Futian draws its inspiration from the compassionate spirit of Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang’s century-old Buddhist sanctuary. Upholding the principle of “compassion for the world and relief for suffering,” the temple established Kek Lok Si Charity Hospital during its 130th anniversary, putting compassion into action.
Continuing this spirit, Futian aspires to allow love and goodness to be returned to society even at life’s final stage — so remembrance becomes not only memory, but a force for helping others.
Therefore, Futian pledges to allocate a fixed portion of every niche’s revenue to the “Medical Relief Fund,” supporting the hospital’s medical and social initiatives, allowing compassion to endure.
